Man falls into sinkhole full of rats 

A man strolling through new york was looking through a store and all of a sudden fell into a sink hole full of an army of rats crawling around him the fire men&woman safely lifted him to the surface and went to hospital.

Opinion 

I think that he is lucky too survive the fall and all the rats in the sink hole luckly someone saw it.

Today we had to create our solar system on tinker cad it was easy and fun this was the first time i used
tinker cad it was good. my favourite planet I made would probably be Saturn because i used a ring its cool because you can change the colours and the shapes. you start off with the tinker cad platform and then put shapes on it and colour it in.

The text we had to read today was on a NASA page about a habitable zone with a star similar to the

sun. The first paragraph was talking about life on the planet and it being habitable and having
knowing about how it is habitable.

the second paragraph it told us that the brighter the star the

quicker it burns out it also had a couple of sentences about microscopic life forms evolving then

about dwarf stars and if they have some habitable zones scientists thought that on one of the

planets it would be freezing on one of sides and the other hot but than the winds would even it out.

The safest planet and star would be like the sun's size and earth size and the zone that it orbits.

They also talked about how many exoplanets there are up to more than 3,200 but most of them are

a bit too far away. I think the whole story was about the zones and telling us about what a habitable

planet is and looks like.

today we had to create a debate about why we think there is life on other planets kade and I chose
Kepler 22b.

for our task we had to create a telescope out of materials we found Liam Kade and I created a
telescope using a cardboard box cello tape toilet rolls and some paper we used the cardboard box was
used to make it darker when you look through the end we made a stand out of cardboard to look up
and cello taped it all together it was a very cool and time consuming piece of cardboard have you
made a telescope before.

today we had to create a slide about planets and there discovers.

something alive

The graphic novel something alive is about a girl who was born in new Zealand but her grandfather

was Japanese and i think the setting is at a museum, she has a difficult time because she thinks that

she has to meet others expectations and she also thinks that she is less than everyone else, there is

a white rabbit in most of the pitchers so i think that is her spirit animal but she still loves her family and

in the fifth page it shows her and her grandmother on the beach looking at the moon over all it was a

good book.

And also i'm guessing one of her classmates asked her a question about japan that he knew she

didn't know so he's being a doughnut. I think she feels guilty  about not knowing enough about her

culture in japan and that she is worried she won't met her grandmas expectations or anyone else's

questions for her because she feels like that she should know.

The story was about this girls grandmas life during the war the country is at war and it was very hard to
find work so most of the country was starving but then her mum put her three kids in an orpongh after
the war countries said that they would take the orponghs they got sent to NZ and then there parents
came to NZ looking for them through the red crouse and got reunited they were going to go back but
there country was not free so they stayed in NZ and they still do polish traditions and are happy.

 refugee in Poland she got sent to a factory to make stuff and then her family sent her and her siblings
 to orphanage and after the war they came to New Zealand and there family still does polish

To close to the edge

This story had two main characters the mum and the daughter the daughter's name was opal
and we didn't get the mom's name, it seemed they were walking away from a bombed city
that i'm
guessing was there town and there walking up a mountain and are are bit close to the
edge and there all starving and dehydrated then opal find a cave and decides to explore it by
herself and walks a bit further into the cave and finds water then the book ended.

How the Maori gods might relate to us or our school values.
on Wednesday we learn't about the Maori gods and what there feelings where and what they were the gods of. we read the Moari creation story and recreated it with Kade and Riki on google slides more resintley we made a collaborative art of the gods we all had a peace we had to colour in and when we finish it looked great.

we also learned about the gods feelings Rongo-ma tane is happy, Maui is cheaky,Ruaumokoa is annoyed,Tumatauenga is angry, Tawhirimatea  has no control, tangaroa do over and that is there feelings which Moari god do you relate to.

respect for me

Respect is very important if we did not have respected we would have a lot of fighting and disagreements respecting something is caring and you have to care about something or else they wont care about what you think respecting is a very good manner like respecting someone or something and caring for what they do.

respect is a great way to be nice and mindful of what someone or something is feeling like
respecting there stuff for example if some one broke your toy that you told them not to touch
that's not respecting but if they listen to you and play with something else that is respecting
your toys and being respectful of someone or somethings property.

respect for me is using manners and being polite most people use there manners but other people are just a bit snobby and disrespectful an example of manners are hello, how are you ,good morning ,good afternoon what is respect for you.

on Monday morning 26 02 2020 miss Fleet gave us a task to recreate the creation story of the Maori myths we looked at the creation story that miss made and we made our own on google slides it is about the gods and them separating there parents and tane mahuta pushed them apart but tawhirimatia didn't like it and starts trying to punish his brothers and the the god of war fights tarwhiwhimatia and there still fighting.

favorite artist

my favourite artist is leo nado de vinchi he painted the emona lisa he is one of the most well none
painters in history he had a rivalry with another famous painter Michelangelo he made a chaple full of paintings on the wall. de vinchis panting are still here today and still look good as new and are worth over a milllon dollers.

hobby

One of my favourite hobby is drawing i like drawing but only with a pencil
because i think its easier i like drawing about animals. i think my mum and
google the reason i like drawing is because it calms me down when ever i am
board i draw at school and home.

we had cooking for tech and we made fritters
they were made with egg ,corn ,pepper, salt,flour

Reflection: the challenge was to build a cup tower without using our body parts our team had a good
strategy we use the string to place the cups carefully on top of each other it worked great we were
great at tower building and keeping the tower steady we had a great way of putting the
cup on the top we were resilient if it fell down we built it back up to the top.
